The Home Master CFDGD2501-20BB Multi Gradient 25/10/5/1 Micron Sediment Replacement Water Filter, White is a whole house sediment water filter that features a multi-gradient density design. It has a 25-micron outer layer, a 10-micron layer, a 5-micron layer, and a 1-micron inner core, which reduces turbidity, dirt, sand, silt, and rust particles down to 1-micron. The nominal four separate filtration layers provide triple the dirt-holding capacity of similar sized filters, and it is designed for high flow rate with low pressure drop, as well as chemical and bacteria resistance. This 20-Inch x 4.5-Inch filter cartridge with a 1-Inch center hole fits the Home Master Water Filter systems and 20-Inch Big Blue filter housing.
Both the CFRFFE-20BB and CFDGD2501-20BB cartridges have 20-Inch x 4.5-Inch dimensions and a 1-Inch center hole. The CFRFFE-20BB iron filter cartridge has a 15 gpm flow rate capacity at 20 - 100 psi and effectively reduces iron and manganese up to 3 ppm combined, with a minimal pressure drop of less than 1 psi. The CFDGD2501-20BB sediment filter cartridge has a high flow 20 gpm capacity and a typical life of 6-12 months.
