The Home Master CFF25-10 is an advanced compound multi-stage water filter that employs coconut shell activated carbon and activated alumina to eliminate up to 93% of fluoride, chlorine, chemicals, VOCs, THMs, and other contaminants that create foul tastes and odors in tap water. It is designed to be compatible with the Home Master Jr. F2 and F2 Elite models, as well as other countertop filter systems that accept 10" filters and utilize a 1" diameter hole.

This filter features a compact size, measuring 9 7/8" high and 3" in diameter, making it easy to store and transport. It weighs approximately 1.25 pounds, and the replacement interval is recommended every 3 months or 500 gallons, whichever comes first, to maintain optimal fluoride filtration performance.

The Home Master Jr. F2 employs special Channel Blockers inside the filter to ensure even filtration and avoid the problems of channeling and dumping that can occur in inferior granular filters. This ensures consistent water quality and performance.

The filter's operating conditions are as follows: water pressure between 20-90 PSI, water temperature between 40-100°F, and a maximum TDS of 2000 ppm. The pH should be less than 7.5, and results may vary depending on regular maintenance, the condition of the unit, and the water supply.

It's important to note that the activated alumina media used to remove fluoride is contact-dependent, meaning that increasing the contact time between the water and the media can improve the removal rate. Slowing the flow rate can help achieve this.

Activated alumina is not the same as aluminum. Aluminum is a metal, while activated alumina is a compound made up of aluminum and oxygen. This filter does not remove all fluoride, but it can remove up to 93% under the stated operating conditions.

The filter is replaceable, and the replacement part number is CFF25-10. A wrench is not needed to open the housing, and the new cartridge design in a striking purple color ensures foolproof installation by fitting in only one direction, simplifying the setup process and minimizing installation errors.
