The filter set has a lifecycle of 2,500 gallons or 1 year, or as needed, and includes three key components: a 5-micron spun poly, high-holding depth sediment water filter; a 5-micron KDF85 and coconut shell granular activated carbon water filter; and a 5-micron Artesian remineralization and coconut shell granular activated carbon water filter. These filters are made in the USA and are compatible with the HydroGardener Pro system, as well as being suitable for use as an upgrade for other HydroGardener units.
The replacement filters feature push-in fittings for hassle-free changes, requiring no wrenches and making maintenance quick and easy. The advanced filtration system removes up to 99% of chlorine, chloramines, chemicals, microplastics, and undesirable tastes and odors, while effectively removing iron up to 1ppm for cleaner, better-tasting water.
The dedicated sediment filter and granular media ensure maximum pressure to the RO membrane, enhancing water production and reducing waste. The Artesian Remineralization feature adds 15-30 PPM of calcium and magnesium minerals (calmag), which are beneficial for people, plants, and pets, providing a balanced and healthier water source.
