The package contains a fully assembled purification unit that includes the RO membrane and filters, storage tank, 3/8-inch feed-water adapter with shut off valve, chrome RO faucet, RO adapter, drain saddle, and instructions.
The Watts Premier 164020 DLA-D Drain Line Plumbing Adapter is designed for fast and easy installation on all garbage disposals where the dishwasher drain inlet is located. The DLA-D helps reduce noise caused during RO water production due to plumbing and installation differences, and its unique design helps prevent plugging of the drain line. The adapter comes with everything needed for direct installation into the under-sink drain plumbing, including a drain line adapter with push-in fitting and barb, a hose coupler, and two marine stainless steel hose clamps.
The universal adapter accommodates 1/2 in., 5/8 in., 3/4 in., and 7/8 in. dishwasher drain hoses with a 3/8 in. RO drain line Quick Connect for air gap faucets. If the RO system does not have an air gap, a 3/8 in. stem to 1/4 in. QC reducer will be required. For installation without a dishwasher drain line, the 3/8" RO faucet drain line connection can be cut off and installed on the disposal port. The adapter's first barb supports 1/2 in. and 5/8 in. drain lines, the second barb supports 3/4 in., and the third barb supports 7/8 in. dishwasher drain lines. Installation of 3/4 in. and 7/8 in. drain lines will require the smaller barbs to be cut off.
