The internal filter is designed to only accommodate the OEM SG5-2509 for better filtration results, ensuring optimal performance.
The iFilters LWHSD features 3/4" female NPT ports and a convenient built-in Pressure Relief button. It provides 5-micron rated filtration, with a multi-stage filter construction that maximizes dirt-holding capacity. The ridged design maximizes the surface area, increasing the overall filter life. The flow rate of 8 gallons/30.3 liters per minute ensures a steady supply of filtered water.
The iFilters LWHSD comes with a mounting bracket, housing wrench, stainless steel mounting screws, and the OEM filter SG5-2509. It can be used as a standalone sediment filter or as part of a pre-filter in a series of filtration steps. For further filtration and reduction of sediment, rust, and chlorine, taste, and odor (CTO), the LWHSD can be combined with the LWHGAC.
