The first stage of the filtration process is a multi-gradient depth polypropylene sediment filter. With a 25-micron surface, 10-micron inner layer, 5-micron inner layer, and 1-micron inner core, this filter is designed for purity with bacterial and chemical resistance. The four separate gradient density layers enhance filter performance and provide triple the dirt holding capacity of similar-sized cartridges, with a typical life cycle of 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and sediment quantity.

The second stage of the filtration process is a radial flow granular activated catalytic coconut shell carbon filter, with a 20-micron rating. This filter effectively removes chloramines, chlorine, chemicals, taste, and odor, with a capacity of 95,000 gallons. Ideal for high-flow applications, this filter provides improved carbon contact time for purer water, utilizing the highest grade catalytic carbon for maximum contaminant removal, including chloramines.

The Home Master Water Filter system comes complete with an instruction book, steel mounting bracket with bolts, and a housing wrench.
